Description: From MCFL World War I Collection. Three page typescript with handwritten signature and handwritten title 'My Experiences as a Soldier.' Signature is illegible, possibly: H. Valderin Brazil R.M.A.? Undated. This account is part of a small collection of correspondence by local soldiers and their families in the World War I collection of the MCFL archive. It is by a soldier from Aromas, California, whose occupation at the time was apricot picker. It describes the soldier's process of deciding to enlist, and his training experiences at Angel Island, the Presidio at San Francisco, and in San Diego.
